Georgraphy

In Geography this week we have made weather wheels and created our own weather map for the United Kingdom. Next week, we will be recording the weather and writing weather reports. 

RE

In RE we have been looking at the story of Easter. Next week we we think about why Easter is such a special time for Christians.

Art

In Art we enjoyed the sunshine and did some observational drawings on the field. 

 

Reading

Please read every night with your child. This will help them with their learning throughout the curriculum

Spellings

To help practise their weekly spellings, the children now have access to spelling frame. This is an online platform used throughout school with interactive games and spellings tests for the children to use. I am able to see how the children are performing throughout the week and there is a leader board to keep track of their points. Please click on the image below for a shortcut to Spelling Frame.

We will continue to quiz the children each Thursday.

Our focus this half term is tricky words. Please see our class page for the half termly overview and additional sentences. 

 

 

SHOW AND TELL

Show and Tell will continue on a Friday. If your child is bringing something to share, please practise what they are wanting to say at home. This will help build their confidence and oracy skills when speaking in front of others.
