Welcome to the Year 3 Friday blog!

Each week you will find out what we have been doing in class, weekly spellings and times tables and lots more.

Homework

Whilst there won't be any homework set over Christmas, please encourage your children to continue to access Times Table Rockstars and Spelling frame. Continuing to practise spellings and times tables will help children to come back and continue with their learning in January. Please also continue to read with your child over Christmas as this will also help with their learning.

Our learning this week in Year 3

We have had a very busy week in Year 3, filled with Christmas activities. On Monday, we learned all about the meaning of the Christingle and made our own Christingles. On Tuesday afternoon, we had our Christmas party which was filled with dancing and party games. Yesterday, we enjoyed singing our Christmas carols in the hall and today we have had toy day.
