Year 6 have worked very hard this week, experiencing a full set of SATS papers, in the correct order!

Neurodiversity week

English

After a series of shorter pieces of work, it has been exciting to dive into MacBeth this week, which is a great play of mistrust and murder!  We have enjoyed writing setting descriptions based upon the Scottish heath from the first scene.

Maths

This week the children have been using algebra to solve one and two-step equations.  Take a look at a sample question below.

 

RE

Building on our understanding of Pentecost, we have enjoyed and analysed a selection of hymns to consider how they reflect the holy spirit.

Science

This week we have used our understanding of distinguishing characteristics of animals to create classification keys.
