Progression in Learning
Our French curriculum is structured so that key vocabulary and grammatical points are regularly revisited, encouraging children to retain prior learning and providing a solid base when introducing new learning. We are very lucky at Euxton C of E as our French lessons are taught by Mrs Tattersall who is a fluent French speaker.
Key Knowledge
When learning French, children need to have knowledge of key vocabulary and also an understanding of grammatical structures and knowledge of how to apply these. Please click on the link below to view the core knowledge taught in each year group.
