Regular reading at home is essential for the development of children’s reading skills. In addition to developing their understanding and comprehension skills, reading for pleasure helps to broaden children’s vocabulary, increases their general knowledge and helps them to access other areas of the curriculum. We aim to foster a love of reading and encourage children to read for enjoyment.
